Mother. Wife. Madison Avenue ad woman. Baker. For years, my friends and family have suggested I "do something" with my love for baking. So eventually I took the plunge and transformed that joy into a business. And while I already had a handful of favorite desserts in my pocket, I stood up a test kitchen inviting my generous neighbors to try new recipes and provide suggestions. Their unfiltered feedback helped me develop an exceptional selection, and I continue to receive requests for new recipes that land on my menu. We continue to learn more about how to live a healthy lifestyle, adapting and reinventing our routines. But that doesn't mean we don't crave an occasional slice of yum. When my husband smells my apple crisp in the oven - a recipe he helped develop - his smile of anticipation lights up our kitchen. That smile, and the ones on the faces of my customers, drives me.
